Tomáš Korda has put 40 years of his life into his match structures – and much more….It is a set of plastic works of art, pictures and 3-D objects made within 40 years. All structures are made exclusively from matches of various colours using several kinds of adhesives and soaking solutions, the only exception being metal boxes in musical instruments from matches, binocular lenses and mirror glasses set in match frames. Here are several figures describing at least three from 65 exhibited works of art bearing witness to the scope of work, author´s patience and skills:
